I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were nice and clean, but the carpet was a bit hazardous for someone with poor mobility. The service was friendly and approachable. The location was excellent with beautiful views of the cathedral, but there were occasional issues with smoke smell and missing items. The dining options varied from excellent to average. The hotel had some positives but also a couple of drawbacks to consider.

The hotel offers a direct view of the Cathedral, and for those considering a visit to Lincoln, it might fall short compared to other options like the Holiday Inn which is slightly cheaper, spotlessly clean, and located on the waterfront with bars and restaurants. The room, though small and lacking a wardrobe, had coat hangers on the wall. The cleanliness was questionable with hairs in the bath, dust on the floor, and hair around the door edges. However, the location is excellent for city center access and provides a direct view of the Cathedral. Be aware that the room might need a makeover to match its Deluxe category status.
